 He is a Ph.D. in international economic relations of the University of Denver, Colorado and a Visiting Professor at the School of Law, Emory University, Atlanta. Working in the European Commission between 1967 and 2000, he has exercised various functions which have brought him into contact with the many facets of European integration. He has written many articles and books on the European Community and the European Union in English, French and Greek. His books have been translated in 14 languages, including Chinese. |
